Katrina Dauphinee is an accomplished Sales Representative and Team Leader who brings a personable approach to the home buying and selling experience. She has enjoyed working on the Larose Real Estate team for over 5 years.
After completing her B.A. Sc. in Gerontology at The University of Guelph she started her career in Seniors Housing. "My first job out of University was to lease out retirement residence suites. The Manager asked me "can you sell?" and I clearly remember saying..."let me try". That first job hooked me. This was much more meaningful than just "selling a suite" I was truly impacting and making a difference in people's lives."
Katrina continued on this path and spent 14 years working with industry leaders in Seniors Housing. Her career was focused on direct sales & creating, training, and coaching sales representatives who assist seniors and their families with the overwhelming transition to retirement community living.
Katrina feels that her background in Seniors Housing has formed a special sales approach which she applies to her clients today: understanding client needs, building a connection, creating a strong real estate plan while always providing an honest and caring approach.
Katrina grew up in Thornhill, ON, and settled into Port Credit 15 years ago with her husband Adam. "My husband and I were drawn to this neighborhood due to Lake, the small-town community vibe, and walkability. We are now blessed to have twin boys who are growing up in such a great neighborhood where they can walk to school, play hockey at a local rink, and bike by the lake. I live, work and play in Port Credit." Outside of work Katrina and her husband own and manage several investment properties including short-term rentals. "Real estate has always been a passion and something we have always been involved with since we got married. It is a regular conversation at the dinner table. I will never forget that at age 4 my boys were playing "real estate agent" and borrowed one of my "lockboxes" for their bedroom door!".
